Have you tried to go back to tomtom and try again?

most of these have this problem please try reset the tom tom

the base that it sits on in the car should do it through the cigarette lighter socket. If not, check that the fuse for the lighter socket isn't blown

If you 'copied' a MAP from another device, then the MAP will not be recognized or listed under the GPS Preference-> Manage Maps option.

I have loaded my Binatone B350 With a 128mb SD Card from my old Tom Tom Go which slots in perfect.
When i turn my sat nav on i get a blue screen stating
"WARNING SYSTEM REGISTRY KEY LOST"
The sat nav then reboots itself and goes to the main page
"BINATONE DRIVE LIKE A LOCAL" and then repeats itself to blue screen again. I have taken the card out and still get the blue screen. Any ideas on how to solve this please

Hi, this is a common problem, there are some things to try.
First open the unit up and remove the battery and then reset, with little "button". replace the battery and then connect up to TomTom Home, and logon to TomTom website and see if you can update your software.
If you cannot, then the only course open now is to return it to Garmin, for a repair, they a re pretty inexpensive and you always get a result.

Download and install Tomtom Home

Once installed connect your Tomtom to your computer and it will check whether any updates are available.

If they are it will download and install them automatically to your device.

Check and see if it needs any update. connect it to tomtom home and that will tell u weather it has any maps loaded in it or not. Also download the available updates.

from what I understand here, ur problem is that the unit only turns on when hooked up to external power source, right?

If so, that means the battery is not holding any power and needs to be replaced soon. sooner or later it will start showing u a green battery light but nothing comes on the screen.

How long do keep it in charge? was it unused for long time?

if it was not in use for more then 20days then pls charge it atleast 2hrs and try. still does not work then ur battery needs to be replaced.

once you've removed the four Torx screws, get your thumbnail between the silver top and the dark grey back and prise the top open by about 1/4". Then lift and ease the front out.

There are two leads holding the two pieces together (one for the battery and the other for the speaker) but these are long enough not to break and once the unit is open they are on connectors anyway.

connect your tom tom to computer and go to tom tom home there you can download free updates to fix the problem,i do this to mine about every month,hope this helps.
