50.2 code on a hp

Hi:

A 50.2 error is a fuser error. This is the assembly that heats up and fusees the text to the paper. It is located at the top of the printer. The fuser is not warming up and is throwing this error. The fuser would have to be replaced.

I have a problem with

Hi,
Dots, Lines and smudges on the printouts are due to deteriorating cartridges and cleaning the green drum of the cartridge may help temporarily. Take out the cartridge and gently clean the roller/ green drum with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth wiping off the toner dots marks/ lines. (corresponding to the location where you are having a green line on the paper)
Also, make sure that the visible inside of the printer is clean and there is no spilled toner inside, which sometimes results in dots.
Moreover, streaks (thicker lines) and dots etc indicate faulty PCR Roller which is located behind the green drum inside the cartridge. Replace the Cartridge or get the PCR Roller changed by a professional.
Try cleaning the toners and see if it makes any difference. You would also have an idea about the toner drum/ parts quality etc and check if they need to be replaced. Furthermore, issues with Laser Unit like dust/ toner dust on the lenses and mirrors inside the printer usually result in faded or discolored prints. For instance, faded text/ picture at certain areas or any color missing when you print.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

I have a CP3505 color

Well a jam is a jam,
or at least as far as the printer is concerned.

Printers detect jams with a series of plastic flags that trigger sensors,
if one of these flags is inside of a sensor it thinks it's a jam.

You should try to follow the paper path and look for each of these small pieces of plastic,
take a can of air and blow out the ones you can find. One of them is probably stuck of has some debris on it.

You can also try feeding some card stock through the paper path up from where the tray cassette goes to see if maybe there's some scrap inside where you can't see.

10.90.00

10.xx.xx errors all relate to supplies. If you recently replaced a toner cartridge then likely the chip on that cartridge is bad.

50.1 3505

50.1 means that the fuser temperature is not reaching operating temp.

50.1 is a common error, majority of the time the fuser is not bad. This problem is solved numerous times by replacing the entire LVPS (Low Voltage Power Supply). But it could also mean that the fuser is bad.

Try this first:
you can fix the LV Power supply if you have a soldering iron. The solder connections open from heat. Just go around and hit all the suspicious looking ones, mostly the ones that have larger pins. They are the ones that carry the current to the fuser.

If that fails, then it is the fuser.

My HP CP3505n squeaks when

I have found that these are not the quietest printers ever made. Usually the squeaking is going to be either a worn transfer belt or a bad cartridge.

Go to the service menu on the front control panel. Access code is 06350507

Select disable cartridge check. You can then remove all cartridges except on to track down if one of the cartridges is causing the error.

Print Quality Issue In magenta

I received a similar HP Laserjet Color Printer with same issue for repair/ maintenance a few months back.
Actually the problem is with the printer design not the magenta cartridge and it needs professional hands for servicing and cleaning. The mirrors which reflect laser beam get covered with dust and toner. hence the image is not produced properly. note that first magenta goes off, followed by yellow, then cyan and lastly black. this is because of the mirrors placement inside the printer.

Rest assure that the printer requires ONLY CLEANING OF THE MIRRORS, which are inside the printer.

Clean them yourself with dry n soft cloth (if you are familar with such tasks) or get it cleaned by any printer repair/ service professional. Please note that the mirrors, lenses and scanner assembly inside such printers is extremely complex and can get damaged very easily especially the mirrors.

Hope it would help, looking forward

I am getting the error code 13.05.00 on an HP

13.05.00 HP CP3505N
Problem Solve. Same error. Generally either a real or phanton jam from the paper tray or manual feed tray.
SOMETIMES the manual feed would work but always one corner on the paper turned down when printed.
Remove toner cartridges and bottom paper tray
Turn printer on its back. The black plastic flap (about 9" long) that hangs down a small amount (near the white main feed roller) had one end most likely the wrong side of the small metal rollers above it.
This flap should hang about vertical. One end of it is most likely the wrong side of the small mostly metal roller above it. Each End of this flap should be about mid way between the two smaller metal rollers.
WITH CARE take a timber skewer and carefully encourage this flap back so that both ends are in the correct place

I have a HP Color

I don't like saying call the manufacturer, but in this case....
HP has an "out of the box" warranty when it comes to toners.
If you bought the toner 6 years ago, but took it out of the box 2 weeks ago, your warranty started 2 weeks ago.
Call 1-800-HP-Invent and they will of course want to troubleshoot with you, but it won't cost anything if you explain that you just installed the toner, it's new, and you are having this issue.
They should treat it as "accessory under warranty".
They'll either stumble upon what the defect in their cartridge was, or in all likelyhood they will simply replace it.

Your helpful friend may have only broken something on the toner.
Have them buy you a new toner, and see if that fixes the issue.
If not, take some pictures of the inside of the printer and we'll see what we can come up with as a fix....and you'll still have that extra toner your friend bought you as compensation for their genius.

When printing, the paper will

Hi You have a small paper jam in the front of your machine,
remove all the trays and the toners have a look under the machine in the place of tray 2 you will see a slot that the paper should feed in to. Fold a sheet of A4 in 1/2 lengthways push it in to the slot and with luck it will come out in the machine, holding on to both ends work the paper along the slot moving it up and down until your paper jam come out
if this is useful please rate me.
