If one of the cartridges are empty these printers will typically stop and demand a new cartridge. If you are lucky enough to be able to still print then go for it.

Hi please slove this 59

According to the service manual this indicates a problem with the developer separation drive. Recommended steps are to check the connector on the fuser drive motor to make sure it is seated properly. If you have disassembled the printer for any reason then the main drive has not been calibrated properly. If you have not diassembled the unit then likely the developer drive has failed and needs to be replaced. PN: RM1-2687-000CN

10.92 errror message. I have

10.92.XX says that the print cartridge XX(00=black, 01=cyan, 02=magenta, 03=yellow) is not engaged correctly.

Since the error occurred after replacing the black cartridge, it's a good bet that the black is bad.
Put the old black in the printer and see if the error goes away.
Open and close the front door slowly and look at the cartridges. You should see the cartridge flaps all open and close as you open and close the front door.
If the flaps don't all open and close, the cartridge lock mechanism could be broken.
You can run the DISABLE CARTRIDGE CHECK diagnostic. This will allow you to remove all the cartridges and install all or one in any slot you want. In your case remove them all and put the cyan in the black slot and see if the error goes away. If yes, put the black in any empty slot. If the error returns, the black is definitely bad.

My HP Color LaserJet 3600

Hi Hubregt,

If your getting a solid black pages when using your HP Color LaserJet 3600, it might caused by faulty driver or damaged cartridge. There are some ways to check if this is a software or hardware problem. Try to reinstall the driver you may also try to print a self test. Here are some recommendations that you can use to correct the problem.

1. Unplug the cable that you used to connect the computer to the printer.

2. Please plug the power cord of the printer to a working power outlet.

3. Now try to print a self-test to determine if the problem is related to the printer. By doing a self-test you can determine if this is a printer issue or a driver issue.

4. If the machine still prints black pages, you need to replace the toner cartridge. A damage or faulty cartridge my cause the problem.

5. You could also try to remove all the accessories (cartridges, memory or I/O board) and try to print a self-test again.

6. Just to make sure that you don't have issue with the software side, I recommend to reinstall the driver.

-->If your still encountering the same problem, the printer may need to be serviced.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Hp 3600n laster printer has

You probably have a defective magenta cartridge. To test that you need Print Test Quality pages.

1. Press Menu to open the MENUS.

2. Press to highlight DIAGNOSTICS, and then press .

3. Press to highlight PQ TROUBLESHOOTING, and then press .

The message PRINTING... PQ TROUBLESHOOTING appears on the control-panel display until the

printer finishes printing the PQ troubleshooting pages. The printer returns to the Ready state after
printing the PQ troubleshooting pages.

the pages it produces are individual colors, black, magenta, yellow and cyan and a white page and a config sheet. If the defect is on all pages then it might be a bad transfer belt. If it is only on one of the color pages, that will tell you which cartridge is bad.

If the error won't go away, the DC Controller in the printer will have to be replaced.
The ".0C.01" part of the error can't be found in the service manual, but I don't think that it will change the fix.

I have two HP 3600n's. One prints immediately and

There are a couple of things you can look at. First and foremost, look at the hardware configuration discrepancies. Print out a config page from each. Are the two printers exactly alike? Same amount of RAM? Same connection (e.g. USB, Ethernet, parallel)? Are you sending print jobs to both from the same computer or different computers?

Then look at each printer driver installed on the computer. Same version? Are the print options the same? Is print spooling possibly enabled on one printer where the other is set to print immediately? Is one using a PostScript driver where the other is using PCL? Same print resolution on both printers?

The main thing is to determine how each printer's hardware and software configuration differs from the other. That's going to narrow down the focus of your troubleshooting immensely.

Hope this helps.

Paper tray 2 is stuck -- cant move in or out

the paper lifting rack plastic tabs one of them is broken and the metal that is showing is catching on the guide so the lifting rack is not lowering into place, turn the printer around, remove the door that hides the back of the paper tray, grab the paper size tab and pull it out as far as you can, now get a flash light and either a ruller or a long screw driver and push the lifting rack down into the tray flat and then push the tray out of the printer. once this is done you can examine the broken tab on the lifting rack and call hp for a part number, get a whole baggie of the pieces because they break all the time!!! you can use some fabric medical tape to make a quick and temporary repair. but it will ware out and you will have to do it again. good luck.

It prints dots down the left side of the page.

That sounds like the printer is set in a format with what is called bullets. If that's the case it must be reset without the bullets.
