Bialetti Venus 4 cup stainless steel stovetop espresso maker Questions & Answers
Steam blows out of valve
Make sure your grinds are ground properly. If you try a different coffee and it still continues the valve may be no good. Also remove the screen on the top half and make sure the passage to the top is clear.

My bosch stove top won't turn on, it just flashes
The red dot light flashing indicates that you have activated the child safety option so the stove will not turn on. Hold your finger on the button for at least 4 seconds to turn off the safety option.
I want to change the rubber seal on a bialetti coffee maker
Just take your coffee maker apart and look under the top part. You'll see the seal and the metal filter. They are only held there by the friction of the seal itself (and any crud that might have built up by now). So with your finger nail or a butter knife pull out the seal, and with it will come the metal filter. It's not a bad idea to do this every time you clean your maker anyway. To replace with old or new seal, just put it back in place: first metal filter, then seal. Easy as can be.

This often happens when there is too much coffee put in to start with. The coffee grounds expand when wet so take up more room. If it is too full to start with then the water has to build up too much pressure and that raises the boiling point. When the espresso is finished the coffee grounds should not be packed solid. You should be able to poke a hole in it with your finger.
The little side on/ off push button is broken on my red bialetti mokissima trio Can this part be replaced?
Acording with bialetti.com that part is not avaliable for replacement, someone who's familiar fixing electrodomestic stuff might give you a better opinion, if can make the trick for you for a few bucks or you can check if is just spring missing, if anything looks right, it could be a fuse inside but you have to open it to check, if you never fix nothing electric before, get some of your friends can check it for you on your presence, never ever leave your machine with no body, you can see it for the las time if you leave it with some one you dont know very well, like your husband or son.
Bialetti mini espresso coming out very slowly
Hi there... have had this problem. sounds like you have minerals deposit problem. Put vinegar in water tank, then start machine to let all vinegar come out , it should clean it well. then do over again with water so next coffee doesn't taste like vinegar .If by the time the vinegar pasted through and water doesn't come out faster , it must be another problem. Hope this helps.
Why coffee will not come out
Firstly check for clogged holes from where the water comes out. Clean out with big pin or the end of a paper clip. Second, check if mineral deposits have clogged the uptake of the water. Boil a round with diluted vinegar and rinse with several other rounds. Thirdly, make sure you have inserted the coffee holder component correctly i.e. snugly where it fits.
Cleaning problems
Hi - I just clean mine with hot water (no soap), and dry it with a towel then leave it on the window sill... My problem is that the coffee can taste a bit metallic at times; and i want to know if I should be cleaning it after every time I use it... Suggestions?
Schaerer SCP is not rinsing correctly
Check the Operating Temperature:
Ensure that the machine has reached the correct operating temperature. If it hasn't, the indicator light will be on. Wait until the machine is fully heated before proceeding.
Check for Ongoing Programs:
If a rinse or cleaning program is currently in progress, the cleaning button may be flashing. Wait for any ongoing programs to complete before trying to brew coffee.
Inspect the Brewing Unit:
Make sure the brewing unit is properly seated and not obstructed. The brew group should be in the correct position.
If the brew group overflows, it could be due to a blockage or misalignment. Remove the brew group, clean it thoroughly, and reinsert it properly.
Inspect the Coffee Spout and Drainage Area:
Check the coffee spout for any clogs or blockages. Clean it if necessary.
Examine the drainage area at the bottom of the machine. If water is running away onto the floor, there may be a leak. Inspect the drip tray and other components for leaks or damage.
Refer to the Operating Manual:
Consult the operating instructions manual for your Schaerer Coffee Club machine. If the above do not resolve your issues, you may have to contact Schaerer Services.
