Coffee scraper arm sticking
You will need to remove the brewing unit from the base and tip it upside down to inspect/free up the mechanism. While you have it that far replace the seal (barista seal) at the bottom of the brewing chamber that seals the rod on the ejector mechanism. Also inspect the back of that sweeping arm where it runs in a track at the back of the tamping piston ram. A new tamping piston with seals and tank seal would not go astray, all the parts are relatively cheap NZ$40 easily gets the lot.
No water coming down to cups
Assuming that you are certain that there is no scale blocking the brew head and that the pump is running normally, try making a cup with no filter cup installed into the filter handle (obviously with no coffee grounds either) but with the handle installed into the machineIf water now flows, your problem is a blocked filter in the floor of the filter cup, and the easiest and most reliable way to fix that is to purchase a replacement filter cup :o)Check also that the filter handle's outlet holes are not blocked. The tar like gunk that builds up in the filters and handles can be quite hard to remove
