Hi, The best thing to do is to uninstall everything to do with the printer and leave it disconnected then restart your PC. Once it is going again plug in the cable to your printer making sure that the printer is all powered up and ready to go. Windows should find the printer and ask for the drivers.
Make sure that you have downloaded and "unzipped" the files (if they were zipped) as the installation will not start if they have to be unzipped. Make a new folder to unzip them too if necessary.

Hi, Maybe it would be best to try downloading again as I have looked everywhere for the particular DLL file that you require and none of the DLL sites have it. If you uninstall your printer and software and restart your printer and do a fresh install you may have better luck. You could try this link and choose your operating system to download.

Your printer works with lexmark 16 or 17 for black and 26 or 27 cartridges for color.

They are simple, without any problems, so if your printer doesnt print at all, they are 2 possible reasons:

1. The cartridge you have now are defective, dryed out or with with bad electrical contacts. You should try new ones, better spend a few extra money on original lexmark cartridges so you can be sure it's not problem no.2
2. The printer has a problem with the neddle-like contacts where the cartridge electrical circuits lean on, maybe some dirt is ther, you should check that.

If it doesn't work after cleaning the contacts and with ORIGINAL cartridges, it's an other issue, but i can bearly help you from a distance with so few details you give about the problem.

But, considering the very low price of suc a printer, maybe it's cheaper to get a new one.

Give it a good clean right through, including the print head with an appropriate material such as isopropyl. . Disconnect it from your PC, uNINSTALL THE SOFTWARE. Do a disk clean up and a disk defragmentation procedure,. Restart the PC and reinstall the software, that should clear the fault
