Try that number and see if they have a vcr belt. I saw it advertised that they have a kit that has 13 of the major drive belts for vcrs.

I have an Emerson Combo Model EWC19T3 and a Emerson DVD/Vidio remote that is not working. I desire it to turn on and off the TV, raise and lower the volume and go to mute.
The only information inside the remote is listed below:

The TV is hooked up to Directv, the remote has new batteries

Are you really sure , your set has video? How dark is it ? As if really nothing visible? Am, sure you can hear sounds. You can adjust the brightness + button to increase the brightness. But if nothing happens , you have problem with your TV set. The problem might be in the Video section. Please let an expert technician to check it. Please don't do it by yourself, it's risky.

your tv may have ben magnetized by the lightning strike.
tv's have an automatic degaussing circuit that demagnetizes
the pix tube when the set is turned on. this degaussing circuit
may not be working or magnetism may have been too strong for
the internal degaussing to correct.
contact local tv repair shop in your area see if they can manually
degauss your set , it should be a min. service charge around $25.

I have a Sharp Tv that had the same problem with a large brownish or black square right in the middle of the screen. It only left about an inch around the edges that you
could see the picture moving in behind the big black block or square.I have DISH sat-elite and the book recomending that I check and see if the "caption settings" were on
or off. They were on. I turned the caption settings off and the large square diappeared.

Call tech support! That's why these people get paid. Sites like this wouldn't need to exist if they did their jobs correctly!

Hi, The problem may be mechanical or electronic. If the drawer is stuck from being bent or jammed it is mechanical. If the system controlling IC circuit is defective, then it is electronic. If it is still under warranty the factory should be responsible for it. If it is not under warranty, the cost of repair is likely to be more than the price of a new dvd player! Sorry, Daniel

This is probably due to dry solders in the power supply area of the tv... next time when it powers off give it a whack on the side and see if will just light up for a moment.. If it doesn't just open the tv and check for dry solders, loose contacts and faulty capacitors.. PS:I would not task some one without experience in electronics to handle this one. This shouldn't cost you much even if you hire a tech anyway..

Go back in the menu, find (input source) or (tuner) then click the cursor right side of the menu button or the left to move the (TV) to (CATV), after you bring it up then move cursor arrow up or down to page (AUTOPROGRAM) then tap the cursor arrow right of the menu button to start the CATV channels to be found , be sure you have the cable connected to the TV. Once the channels have been found, tap (EXIT) or (STATUS) button on remote to get out of the menu and close the page, or just turn set off and back on again.

Im sorry but you can't without the original remote. If you want to consider getting the remote go to http://www.remote.com or maybe you can borrow one from a freind or a local store that sells Emerson will let you borrow one. Good Luck

This is a boot log error, replace the main board and it should work.
