Alpine cda 9807 in yukon xl

hi david, check out the connection of the yellow and red wires on the back plug. yellow must be connected to a direct battery positive line(continuous positive), the red must be connected to a live wire from the ignition switch OR from a point that is +12v live once the car is started(switched positive). also make sure that that the ground connection is a direct good connection to the body of the vehicle!! make sure that the remote wire(blue) is insulated if you not using an automatic aerial or external amplfier. good luck.cheers.

The display stop lighting up on my Alpine CDA

If you can get it apart enough to see the circuit board of the display, you will probably see bad solder connections on the lamps. personally, Ii'd visit a junkyard for an exact replacement stereo. If the one you get doesn't work, they'll gladly find you another.

It does sound like a bad connection on one or more backlight lamps. Aafter removing stereo, you'll probably see several screws and plastic catches holding the face on, then more small screws and catches and connectors you'll have to deal with in order to get it apart enough to get to lamps. Also, they don't want to go back together easily, so what i'd do visit a junkyard and replace whole stereo with exact model.

Hope helps.

Instaling alpine car/cd stereo cda 9807

Its probably your wiring harness that came with the stereo. Which can cause many more problems. alpine changed their wiring harness around that time. But they used the same plug, just wired different. So now there are crossed wires, but the plug fits, causing the amp chip to fry. maybe even further than the amp chip. an amp chip replacement runs about 80$ at a repair shop. if its just that.

A.M. stations

What type of vehicle is it in? Some manufacturers, such as Toyota, use separate antenna plugs for AM and FM that cannot be plugged into an aftermarket unit at the same time.

I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't

  1. Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
  2. Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
  3. System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
  4. Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  • Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
  • If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
  • Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.

Alpine tdm 7543. Is this a model that can switch from green to red lighting?

After researching, it appears that there is no direct evidence suggesting that the Alpine TDM 7543 stereo unit has the ability to switch from green to red lighting. This is an older unit and specific information can be challenging to find. Your best option to get a definitive answer may be to directly contact Alpine's customer service or refer to the original instruction manual.
