There may be dirt on the laser lens. Maybe there is something mechanicaly worn that is causing the laser to not properly track the DVD information on the disk.

After cleaning the DVD lens, if the problem still exists, then the DVD player will require proper service. If it is a low to medium cost unit, or if it is more than about 3 to 4 years old, then it may not be worth to service.

your car probably wont have one this wire is designed to be hooked to the park brake switch wire so you cannot watch movies going down road.as this is illegal. the wire gorunds when park brake is pressed. splice it into the wire on brake

actually it works better if you just ground the hand brake wire. by securing a section of exposed wir with on of the main body screws.

You can get a new face from pacparts.com, but it is about $330. You'd be better off getting a new deck.

is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.)

It sounds like you are running your audio through an amplifier. If so, you are probably using the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white (amplifier remote turn on). The blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

Seems like the laser lens is dirty. Try cleaning it with qtip and rubbing alcohol if that doesnt work try replacing laser.

maybe the motor disc spindle are in bad conditions and need to be replaced maybe loose some speed

the amp remote wire should be blue/white stripe.
