You can get a new face from pacparts.com, but it is about $330. You'd be better off getting a new deck.

is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.)

It sounds like you are running your audio through an amplifier. If so, you are probably using the blue wire (antenna remote turn on) instead of the blue/white (amplifier remote turn on). The blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

Seems like the laser lens is dirty. Try cleaning it with qtip and rubbing alcohol if that doesnt work try replacing laser.

the amp remote wire should be blue/white stripe.

maybe the motor disc spindle are in bad conditions and need to be replaced maybe loose some speed

could be doa or have a dirty lense

@if it worked before and it just went blank could be bad conection fuse or ur detach face screen burnd out and if u need face ur in luck i have face for tat let me know franciscorhern66

run the parking brake lead to earth

Was it working before?
If so, (a) fade control is not in the center or (b) Unit or speaker is broken
If it never worked, then check wiring

if the unit is new there are 2 screws in case to be removed before cd will work, they should be labe;ed on cd player, also there is a screw that prevents the facia being removed , that screw is not normaly in the new unit, but the shop selling it puts it in to stop the facia being taken off while on display . its not marked but is just normally on the top of the case behind the "button" you press to release facia

cd reader is bad on unit replace

Odds are you car has a factory amplifier, and you used the power antenna wire to turn it on. Swap your blue wires, and you should be fine.

disconect it and conect it back

Most cd players have a pin hole swith on the bottom or back of the player it has to be tripped to reset it.I don't know about this particular player though.

put brake wire to ground

your car probably wont have one this wire is designed to be hooked to the park brake switch wire so you cannot watch movies going down road.as this is illegal. the wire gorunds when park brake is pressed. splice it into the wire on brake

The eject button is the load button on our 2005, maybe the same for you. Just hold it in for a few seconds and it should spit out your cd. You should be able to lightly put the cd up to the insert space and it should take your cd. If your cd player holds multiple cds then perhaps there are some in there that have not been ejected.
