Pioneer DV-260 DVD Player Questions & Answers
I need the instructions on how to connect the
Hi
There are several different ways to do this depending on your equipment and what types of connecting cables they will accept.
However the setup described here is a basic setup that allows you to play discs using just the cables supplied with the player. In this setup, stereo audio is played through the speakers in your TV.
You do not need to connect the player to the cable receiver for the TV.
Use the supplied audio/video cable to connect the red and white plugs to the audio outputs and the yellow plug to the video output on the back of the DVD player. Make sure you match up the left and right audio outputs with their corresponding inputs for correct stereo sound.
On the back of your TV you should see these inputs - may be labelled AV IN, RCA IN or Composite In. Ensure you connect them using the color code i.e yellow to yellow, white to white etc.....
Connect the power supply to your DVD player and After making sure that everything is connected properly and that the player is plugged in, press STANDBY/ON on the front panel, or on the remote control to switch the player on.
If nothing is displayed on the TV make sure that the TV is set to the correct video input (not a TV channel). For example, if you connected this player to the VIDEO 1 inputs on your TV, switch your TV to VIDEO 1.
You should now see a welcome screen. Follow the prompts on screen and your DVD player is ready to play disks.

Use a good dvd cleaner & clean the player. If this works then problem solved, if not then check the back of the dvd for deep scratches. those are the two common causes of the problem you describe. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

My pioneer amp 820w blinking blue why?
The blue blinking light on your Pioneer amp could indicate a number of issues. One possible reason is that the amp is in "standby" mode, which means that it is not currently receiving any audio signals. Another possibility is that the amp is experiencing an error or malfunction.
To get a better understanding of the issue, I would recommend checking the user manual for your Pioneer amp. If you don't have the manual, you can try searching for it online using the model number of your amp. You can also try resetting the amp by unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. If the problem persists, it may be time to take your amp to a professional for repair.
