I HAVE 2 GREY BARS DOWN BOTH SIDES OF THE SCREEN ON MOST OF MY STATIONS...DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THEM

This is more likely a loose connection. You would need to remove the TV stand, back panel. Remove the front cover and panel. Where the TV stand sits on the front of the TV there is a cover you need to remove. It's easy there is a metal frame all around the front panel, at the base is the what you need to get to. There are 2 white computer cables, one controls the left side, the other the right side of the LED's. When this cable comes loose, you have the problem you described. to remove the cable lift up on the small black bar just above where the cable connects.

60" sharp aquos power indicator is flashing one short flash and one long flash and keeps repeating the sequence

POWER LIGHT FLASHES ONE SHORT AND ONE LONG FLASH. What is the problem? THE PROBLEM IS THAT ONE OF THE LED's STRIPS IS BAD! SHARP AQUOS LC60LE810UN RESET INSTRUCTIONS 1)Plug in TV to electric current First then wait until LED start flashing. 2)Press Volume DOWN [ - ] HOLD BUTTON. 3)Press Channel UP [ ^ ] HOLD BUTTON. 4)Press Power [ (') ] HOLD ALL three buttons until LED stops flashing and then release.
·This will reset the TV in order to fix the problem. ·THE FIX IS TO REPLACE ONE OF THE LED's. You need to open the back of the TV and you will also need to remove the front cover and panel to get to the LEDs. The TV will need to be placed facedown and on the backside. This is a 2 person job to turn the TV on its sides. Be careful with the white computer connectors (wide white strip) at the base of the TV where the TV stand sits. You will need to disconnect this in order to get to the LED's. Once you have the LED's exposed, you will need to unplug one by one by placing the new strip next to it until the unit turns on. You will have to use the RESET procedure above if the Power lite flashes. The Power lite MUST BE ON SOLID - no blinking in order to test the strips. The LED's will flash, but still one of them will be burned. Even if you stare and all the strip light-up, you will still need to check one-by-one! Once the TV lights up, your face will also light up with joy! Put everything back together and you are set. If you need the complete instructions which come from Sharp as to how to disassemble the unit, please send me an e-mail to [email protected]. Please note I don't check this address daily, so a few days wait may take for you to receive the instructions. Where can you buy the LED's - try searching Yahoo.com or Google.com for resellers. 52 aquos green light flashing

These flashes are fault indication, and technically known as blinking codes. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it, which will make repair easy. if you wish to get more details about these blinking codes, check this link. Blinking code details to many brand TVs, including Sharp is given. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts by its left sidebar, or type in the brand name and model number to of your set, to its search box, and press 'Enter' or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide option.

HI I have 60" Sharp

Im sorry to imform you but there probably isn't a solution for this. you see with an lcd if one of the pixals goes out more of them start to go out. I know someone who bought an lcd monitor for there pc and when they took it home one pixal was out for the pressure it was under when they shipped it. she turned the monitor off and later back on and there was a line on here screen. then she turned it off and back on and it was a bit larger till she had a line all the way down the screen. she was able to take it back to the store for a new monitor but the next one did the same thing. it wasnt till her 3rd or 4th one that she finally had a good working one. anyway theres no way to get those pixals back if that is what it is.

im sorry about your television.

i hope this has helped if you need anymore help just reply.

Sharp LC-60LE810UN. the sound all

hi,
You have to check three things.
1. Check is the mute function is ON or not. For that press the mute button on the remote.
2. Check the speakers of you tv. For that you have to open the tv. For testing the speaker you need a multimeter. Check the coil continuity of the speaks. it should be 4 ohms or 8 ohms. If there is no continuity then change the speaker with a new one. If the continuity is ok then
3. You have to check the audio output amplifier IC ( integrated circuit). For finding out the audio amplifier ic which one it is, just follow the wire from the speakers. Its other end will ends in the socket near the audio output IC. It will be fitted on a aluminum heat sink (radiator)
To replace the IC you need soldering ion, desoldering pump, solder etc.
the part number will be written on it. you have to purchase the same part with the same part number.
ok

I turned on the tv

Hi Erick,

This is an indication of out-of-regulation in the power supply section. The very common caused of this fault is the dried-up/leaky electrolytic capacitor in that section. It will drop the supply from normal voltage and will disable the unit and blinking error appear. Sometimes it has a bulged/dome at the top but not all, it is better that you have a capacitor checker/tester to determine its condition. Also, bad solder joints can produce the same symptom, it is hard to spot, you should use table lamp/portable lamp for finding the cold solder. Secondary reason of fault is the open fuse/fusible resistor in series with the output of regulator IC/transistor, shorted/openRegulator IC/transistor, shorted zener diode(all are in the power supply section) and the microcontroller. Best that you check the output voltage of each regulator to determine where the fault came from and narrow the job.

If you don't have necessary tools and test instruments, and can't do the job yourself, I would advice you to look for a professional to troubleshoot the problem. Don't attempt to work in the power supply if you don't know the safety precaution of handling it, there some stored electricity enough to hurt you with a little mistake only.

Also check if your unit is under warranty /extended warranty, avail it because the manufacturer of your unit will fix it for free. Don't open the back panel, this will void the warranty.

Hope I helped you.

Have a nice day!

Thanks for using Fixya.
