yes you can since you are getting power from the fan itself all the switch will do is turn it off or on,good luck

try to find the manual through the internet. Look for model number and name of product then click manul to your chosen then it should be no problem to help you find it better!

That is a question that you will have to check out for yourself. There are a few sizes of fittings for both makers. The best bet is to measure the mounting plates and see if they are the same. Or take the old one to the store and see if it fits.

You can find replacement globes at Home Depot. They are the exclusive retailer for the Hamptoon Bay brand

There are a bout three screws that hold the light part to the fan.
Make note of the wiring before you disconnect it also.
Remove the screws and the wiring will be exposed as the light part drops down...
Check the diameter of the light parts and find a new light kit that will fit it...
The Hampton Bay fans are exclusive to Home Depot, so most any of their light kits will fit, but any kit the right diameter will work..

If there is not a little switch on the side of the non-rotating part (below the blades) then your fan is not reversible.

If there is a way you can hold with one hand the part that is turning, and turn the globe with the other hand, try that.

If you can't do that or it doesn't work, I would suggest spraying the threads on the globe with spray cooking oil (like Pam). Let it soak for a while, when turning counterclockwise shake it slightly -- it should come out.

Take the socket (or bulb) to an electric supply store. Tell them you need one (or one that fits this bulb).

They are just a low-end fan for Home Depot. The Hunters in Home Depot are also low-end. I personally would never buy Hampton Bay. Did you ever notice that the fan problems on here are mostly Hampton Bay, Harbour Breeze & Hunter?
