Simply you read the program by KPG55D and go at ctcss and delete it by pressing the delete key and press enter after deleting.

The Kenwood TK-3101 are programmed through the old DOS based program and a program cord. The only way to "reset" is also through the cord. Finding both the program and cord might be difficult but i do have those and let me know if you need assistance?

other than check your wiring for rubbed spots or loose connections, I don't know. maybe try swapping parts one at time with your buddy. maybe your headset?

hi, all i can think of is- A, the computer is way too fast for the program you are trying to run, what you need is a really old slow computer or B,
check the COM port settings on your computer.
click start, right click on my computer, click properties, then click on the hardware tab, then device manager.
then there will be a 'Ports COM &LPT' just make sure the com port number is the same one as you are using on the software. Hope this helps.
INTERFERANCE WITH KENWOOD YK3101 TRANSMISSION.
If you are replacing radios and connecting them to your bike and it is doing the same thing. Its not your radio, it is something else. I am not familiar with this autocom gizmo you talking about, but if you take your radio and it works on another bike, then that should tell you its not your radio as well. I suspect this AUTOCOM thing is the culprit
