Has started to beep whenever items plugged into
If it's more than 3 years old, you probably need new batteries.
If the beep started after plugging anything additional into the UPS, you may be in an overload state, and the beep is telling you that it's choosing to beep and not function as intended rather than smoking itself. Try unplugging a piece or two from it and see if the beep goes away. If not, probably just you're batteries giving out due to old age, they'll only give you 3-5 years.
Why is my router transmitting a wireless signal,
I answered this the same for another person. Check the adapter to the router with a digital multimeter. If, let's say, the router adapter is supposed to be 9.0 V and it reads 9.5. It's okay.
However, if it reads close to or more than 10.0 V, it is overloading and can damage your system through the ethernet cable.
If it is within tolerance, also check the internet connection with another cable. Outside this, you'd have to get a new router.
Need Win Vista driver for External Dynex USB modem.
Hello jorgecenicer,
The DriversFixed.net web site has a download page for all new Dynex drivers. I hope this helps to fix the modem problem: http://www.driversfixed.net/dynex.php
I thank you for giving a rating to this solution if it has been helpful.
Have a great day,

Need to reset router
Okay, look for a small hole in the router about the size for a small pen or paperclip. It may or may not say reset nearby. Use something that will fit in the hole, I usually opt for an unbent paper clip, and press and hold the button inside the hole for a minimum of twenty seconds. I would recommend disconnecting the router from your network and any power sources first. If you still can't find it, just post the model of your router.
Reset security key or passphrase
Should be a reset button on the back or bottom of the router. You'll have to use a paper clip or something similar to push and hold it for five seconds. This will reset it to factory default.
Wep key
Use a computer that is currently connected to the router. Open Internet Explorer and go to http://192.168.2.1 It will ask you for a user name and password that you created during set up. The password is blank by default. You are then logged into the router and can view or change the WEP key, or any other settings for the router.
