When the light on the receiver starts to flash, press the Connect button on the bottom of the mouse. The connection should be re-established and the light should stop flashing.
My mouse keeps on skipping
Did you try changing the batteries? If so, try unplugging the mouse receiver and plugging it back in. If that doesn't do anything, how long have you used the mouse? My mouse skips clicks because of my normal use over the years. Might just be the wear and tear to the little clicker button, but try changing batteries.
