We have two computers and

Hi.

This problem happens when the IP address is set as "Obtain an IP address automatically". Please make sure your setting is correct. You have to manually set the IP address for the second computer.

To get your computer's IP address.
  1. Click Start, and then select All Programs.
  2. Click Accessories, and then Command Prompt.
  3. At the command prompt, enter: ipconfig
To set the IP address:

) Click Start

2) Click Control Panel

3) Double Click Network Connections

4) Under LAN or High-Speed Internet Doubleclick the enabled device (the Local Area Connection or the Wireless Network Connestion)

5) On the Status Box Window that opens Click the Properties button

6) Drag the Properties window beside the Status window

7) Click the SUpport tab on the Status window

8) Click the Details button--this window provides the information you will need to manually configure your IP

9) In the Properties window that you have open beside the Status windows scroll down through the devices until you get to Internet Protocol TCP/IP

10} Select Internet Protocol TCP/IP and click the properties button

11) In the Properties window that opens select "Use the following IP address"

12) If you have a number of machines begin by setting the IP address to 192.168.1.100 then go to 192.168.1.101 and so forth giving each machine a unique IP

on the network

13) The subnet mask has a default value of 255.255.255.0 in most cases

14) Copy the Default Gateway from the Network Connection Details window information (192.168.1.1 is common)

15) Copy the DNS Server info from the Details window--there will likely be two adresses to copy.

16) Close all the windows and test your internet connection

17) Repeat the process on all the machines on the network giving each a unique IP address.

Cheers!

Need 'step-by-step' instruction to

We all have to start somewhere! The simplest way is to see where your mouse is currently plug-in your computer: look for an identical 'USB' socket to the one the mouse is plug-in and plug the USB hub cable plug to this socket. You could also just unplug your mouse from the computer socket and plug the USB hub cable instead AND THEN plug the mouse in one of the socket on your Hub. The computer should automatically install the software require to drive your newly installed USB hub. Hope it helps!

My b4ran7d n7ew Dyn7ex keyb4oard

Re:"My b4ran7d n7ew Dyn7ex keyb4oard has automatic pop ups of n7umb4ers. How can7 I fix this ASAP. I am ab4le to b4ackspace to erase n7umb4ers. I can7n7ot type an7y copy."

I can see from typing that the problem is NOT the Num Lock. The numbers are not replacing the letter UIOJKLM, but are being inserted after letters like B and N.

That means that when you press certain letters the keyboard is sending two codes. That means that the keyboard is faulty.

Contact dynex and have the keyboard replaced.

Let me know if this satisfies your question. In case please do not forget to accept.

Regards.

Your wireless router can be configured to use different "channels." Each channel is a range of frequencies (around 2.4GHz) which is also what your phone uses. By default most wireless routers are usually set to channel #8. Change it to channel 1 or channel 2. If that doesn't work you need a different wireless router or phone, so the frequencies won't match.

Switches in a mouse can go bad, and it sounds like one in yours has. It is possible to replace the bad switch if a suitable part can be found and you can find someone to do the repair. But it's probably cheaper just to buy a replacement mouse. A new mouse would be the best way to go, unless yours is a very high-end or specialty model. Then see if a computer service shop in your area is willing to make the repair.
