do you have the settings for the battery {lower bottom right} setp up to be all the way dim when on battery power and or do you have settings set to dim when charger is plugged in or something to that affect ?

I would replace the battery with a genuine Thinkpad replacement. If a battery is altered in some way it MAY be a fire hazard.

The Touchpad? External mouse? Have you reboot the computer? You may want to post to Tablet & eReaders for a Tablet expert.

The primary solution is to change the power adapter. It has to provide enough power to charge the battery. If the unit is more than 2 or 3 years old, you might have to change the battery itself.Power adapters can be purchased on eBay for about $10-$15.

You may have to replace the AC jack.

use this trick. unppluged the power cord+then the batteries and Hold THE main switch from laptop by 15 seconds. And try again Normal.God bless you

Do a system restore to a starting point before the system gave you the message - also do an anti-virus scan

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program.
