Automatic document feeder requires you to insert files into holder and let the machine scan through the pile providing you have not over ridden settings to manual.it sounds as if you have switched off adf to manual which would require you to place each document onto glass one at a time.see if you can switch it back to auto in the screen menu.

If you have some cartridges that aren't empty, first make sure that the printer is on. Then press the Menu button and navigate to the Maintenance menu then select Ink Cartridge Replacement. Press OK. Make sure that the document cover is closed then lift the entire scanner unit (grip it on the sides). If the cartridge carrier moves, wait for it to stop. Then squeeze the tab at the back of a specific cartridge and pull it straight up. (Have one finger on the tab and another finger or thumb pinching the opposite side of the top of the cartridge.) Prepare your new color cartridge by shaking it 4-5 times then open the bag. Remove the yellow tape from the cartridge without touching any other parts of the cartridge. Then insert the cartridge into that slot and press down until it clicks. Repeat this for the rest of the ink cartridges. Finally, lower the scanner unit and press OK on the keypad to exit the maintenance mode. Wait for the printer to do its ink system test routine. just scale to a4 from print dialog box appear on right bottom side other wise delete all prints and restart printer and computer then try again it comes to actual sizze

Assuming you're referring to the print size of the fonts - letters ..... or the size of the printed page ... If you're printing from your computer, you'll need to change the size of the font (to a larger font size) on your document before you print, or adjust the print Properties ... to fit to page, or magnify the size of a small document ... If you're printing a pdf file, you can specify the size of the document using the enlarge (%) before you send it to the printer
