I have the manual for the Clarion NX501, but it does not tell HOW to set clock.

Page 51 of the manual, under General Setup Menu, is Clock.
Here is where you set time, AM/PM, or 12/24 hour clock,

Need to know how to set the correct time on the clock. Clarion DB245 cd/radio

I have to search for this every time too. This product has an incredibly non-intuitive button inetrface. From the instruction manual (which can be found at http://www.devicemanuals.com/guide/Car%20Audio/Clarion/Clarion-DB245-CD-Installation-Manual-TkRZeU5qVT.html):

Clock setting for Clarion DXZ555MP Radio / CD Player.

Just go to the website and click on the 'download manual' link on the right side. Here is the page on Clarion USA, for your cd player.
http://www.clarion.com/us/en/products/2005/audio/source_units/cd/DXZ555MP/us-en-product-pf_1133851137392.html
There you can download your owners or installation manual in PDF for free. Nice to deal with a company like them isn't it?

Clarion marine stereo M2455

Don't worry about the brown wires. They are for telephone mute.

The yellow is Memory (constant 12 volt, so battery is fine), but the red should go to a 12 volt source that turns on and off with the key.

Clarion dxz545mp doesn't power, does not work.

Check the fuses in the fuse block under the hood. Your clock fuse and radio constant power fuse are combined in this vehicle.
