I'm going to install this stereo in my jeep. It's not going in where the factory radio was. So I need to know what the wiring diagram is for that model radio. I already know the speaker wires, power & ground. Is the yellow the memory wire? And there are 2 more wires. Just to the right of the power wire there are 2 brown wires, one has black hash marks on it, the other has a blue line that runs the full length of the brown wire. And can I run the yellow and red wires direct to battery power, fused of coarse. Please let me know. Thanks Gene [email protected]

red: ignition yellow: constant power or memory black: ground blue: remote turnon orange: (if it has it) illumination speaker wires are two of the same color...with the black stripe on each of the two your negative. white is your front left i believe, grey is your front right...purple is your rear left and green is your rear right
Oxidation from humidity could have tarnished a connector somewhere. Make sure all connectors are clean and shiny first. It could be that the receiver is bad. A stereo shop should be able to check that for you easily.
you can get the instruction book in the following websites. www.bizrate.com/marineelectronics/clarion-m275-marine.../compareprices.html www.amazon.com/Clarion-M275-Marine.../B000PHFVKW www.crutchfield.com/ISEO...020M275/Clarion-M275.html
sounds like a short in your wiring to your speakers the best thing to do to check this is run a speaker wire directly to the speaker from the stereo check it that way and see if it works. If that don't work it's the wires on the stereo connection. The speaker wires on most aftermarket stereos are mostly colored 2 of each green, purple, white & grey.
I had the same problem with invalid channel on all channels ! Had to reset the siriuss receiver by removing power for 15 sec and restoring! that means not just shuting it off but removing all power to the sirius unit not the clarion unit itself and reastablishing power to it turning on the clarion head unit and walah! satelite would recieve ESN and 184 and programing! Hope it works for you after 3 long waiting periods on the phone!
if your radio is puiing more power your ground might not be good enough, use the same spot but remove the ground and rough it up a little on the base with some sand paper or add a metal o ring to get a better ground.
