How do I connect a trailer hitch power plug to the break lights and tail lights to my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe.

IS THE SOCKET GOOD (ANY CRUD BUILD UP IN THE SOCKET) CHECK THE WIRES TO THE SOCKET FOR GOOD CONNECTIONS.

Take to a trailer hitch specialty shop. (Think of where you would take a pickup truck to - not U-haul or similar). This sounds like a severe safety issue. They will recommend a safe alternative to your current hitch and likely buy it back from you as well (at a loss to you I am sure, but better than killing yourself or others when your boat or jet ski comes zooming past you on the highway.)

you can add a receiver hitch made for that vehicle. for light towing you should be fine. it won't handle a car trailer or Large boat.

yes replace a broken fuse

you should'nt have to,all you need to do is to run a wire from one brake light to the plug if your brake light is a two filament globe ie. tail/stop light you need to make sure that you connect to the brake light wire.....hope this helps....cheers

Now that you have the screws out, you need to pull away from the front left (driver spot) or right (passenger side) depending on which tail light your replacing. There will be a small tab in the corner closest to the vehicle, undo the clip and it will come out clean and easy!

You might need some needle nose pliers :)

well there are two ways to solve this. you can either A let uhaul install one. not that pricey and pretty good or B buy one and use the instruction
