lost operators, manual.
sun roof, can be 3 things
fuse
jammed
motor. dead.
3 fuse boxes (iml looking on online fsm)
fuse box 3 contains, fuse 32 and 45.
fuse 32 runs , "IG2-SIG-15a)
roof, and quote:
Radiator fan relay #1
Radiator fan relay #2
Radiator fan relay #3
A/C compressor relay
Seat heater switch (Driver side)
Seat heater switch (Passenger side)
Sliding roof unit
Blower motor relay
unqout
id bet it is not the fuse. see why? the blower, would be dead.
fuse 45: all is only S/R that is the label too.
this box is long and skinny
with 3 relays on left
and
2 fuse top
11 fuses, in horz middle.
10 fuses on bottom row. fuse 29 bottom right.
fuse 39 center right
and top 2 are 51 and 50 , left to right
I had the same problem with my jeep. If you aren't positive that it is your sun roof check to make sure that your doors are shutting completely. One way to check is by pouring water along the crack where your door meets the body of your car. My sun roof as well as my drivers side door had a leak in them and instead of getting the sun roof fixed I had sealant put around the rim of the window and I haven't had any problems since.
recommend cking the drain holes, should be 4 drains in the corners, sometimes you have to clean out all drains, usually they clog in the bottom.dirt,trash,etc.builds up and restricts or stops the flow then it backs up and leaks into cockpit area.
common problem with these roof racks check for loose bolts holding it on also there are inserts pressed into your roof under the roof rack these threaded insrts tend to come loose or get pulled out use silocone sealant around every bolt and insert.
If you open the sunroof, look towards the rear corners and you will see
2 openings that are the drains. If the drain openings are clogged, you
will get water into the car from the sunroof.
This is a common issue, it is caused by a relay block that is mounted close to the sunroof motor, after time the main 2 relays on the block come loose and can be fixed by taking out and re-soldering them, i fixed mine and two other friends jeep sunroofs this way, works like a charm
