Ac not blowing cold, check main relays, has r12, jumpered and clutch kicks in. checked all fuses and relays swapped horn and ac OK... she has the push button ac controls.... thinking its something with them but not sure how to test... also can some say what the extra 2 wire plug on the compressor is for? I know about the clutch one... there is another 2 plug wire and one single wire yet on the compressor... I read the manual says have to have windows up? hehe really maybe a sensor on a window? Its a wierd one... funny thing has 2 cans of freon and pressure is more than enough, but when I jumper ac clutch still air is HOT...? bad compressor all together? I know I really need schematics.... I read a few post talk about a HIVAC controller? Can find let alone figure out how to get dash switches out... maybe time to see the GM man....

I had that by passed and the fans I assume are the 2 electrical they are on... I see the LOW pressure switch and bypassed that.. I see the cutout switch on the ac compressor, I assume thats for full throttle? to stop ac? again the dang owners manual says windows need to be rolled up for ac to work? Hmm not sure about that... the 2 wire small connector on the high side seems fine all fuse have power just compressor will not turn on I read somewhere online that a wire is commong to get burt I don't have a lift to get up under and really look around but most wires look fine this is a MINT Car with 23k on it and LOOKS BRAND NEW SHOWROOM! But that don't mean things can't go bad... LOL... I think its the AC control unit myself I just can't figure out how to get it out of the dash... it the small square buttons... I would think in Defrost AC or MAC AC I would get the compressor to turn on... I can hear clicks hear and there and the 30 amp fuse under the dash has power... I read were the computer could actaully be bad? And cause ac not to work? I know I was looking for the simple fix freon HI LOW Switch relay fuse but all seem fine. FREON is OK but as I said if I jumper the clutch and she turns on, its HOT not even a hint of cool.... maybe thats because the fans are not on then? Should they be blasting? If I let the car get hot enought they are running to begin with???

There is a pressure switch on the ac drier that is the big silver can looking thing by the dash under the hood... if this goes bad the ac compressor will not kick on and the fans will not run when the ac is turned on... if the fans are not running at the same time of the ac compressor it will not blow cool..

2010 rav 4 AC not blowing cold air

Should be 12 volts. Check the AC relay in the fuse box. Often you can change it with the horn relay to test the relay.

Replaced AC with converter kit and ac still does not blow cold air.

could be fuse or relay causing pump not to kick on...also could be clutch on pump has failed...somethings you might check...

My 2001chrysler town and country van horn does not work

Check the horn relay to see if it works. Most cars use the same relays for multiple other functions. Check the part number on the horn relay and find another relay that is working that has the same part number. Swap out the horn relay with the known good relay. If that doesn't work, check all the wiring in association with the horn. If all the wiring is sound, then it is probably the horn itself, but that is very rarely the case.

I have a 1996 jeep that I am having ac problems with.

the wire for the compressor clutch will come from a relay connected to the thermostat switch under the dash
ac compressors cycle according to cabin temp setting or from the climate control module

Can some post the 1999 gmc sierra wiring diagram

you don't have enough pressure in your system. odds are you have a leak someplace and the factory installed a saftey switch to keep the ac from running when there is no pressure. This way you don't end up burning up your compressor.

Ac problem

Static pressure(Non operating) usually is around 70 lbs and should be even on both sides. Sounds like the systen is too low for the computer to allow operation. I suspect a small leak somewhere. Adding as little as 1/2 lb should allow operation and leak testing.

Ac not blowing cold air

either you are out of refrigerant (means there is a leak) or the fuse is blown for the compressor clutch circuit. check your fuse box for any blown fuses first, then if your a/c is R134a get a gauge kit and check the pressure if you can get it to turn on. it should be 25-35psi. if your car is the older R12 system you will have to have it retro-fitted.

Horn

unplug the wire to the horn, use a test light to check if there is power there when the horn is pressed. If yes, replace the horn. If no, check the horn fuse, if that's ok, check for power at the horn relay and swap it for another relay the same to check if the relay is faulty. From there, if the fault still exists, you'd better get an auto electrician to look at it.
