1995 Ford Mustang GT V8. Why do my dim headlights not work?

" dim headlights "? None of your lights should be 'dim'. You have 4 lights.

Side Lights.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Low Beam Headlights.
High Beam Headlights.

Here are the fuses, check fuse 5 and D although they covers more items than lights. Your best bet is to find a good local auto-electrician.

If headlights don't come on on a 2000 Buick Lesabre what do you think is wong

first go for the easy stuff. do the tail lights come on? if so, then will almost guarantee it's bad bulbs in headlights. if tail lights do not come on I would check fuses first relay second. switch third.

One high beam not working 2006 Buick lacrosse

Sampson, sounds like a bunt out bulb, which will need changed.
If you feel comfortable doing it yourself. Basically three screws, and you have to pull one plastic fastener from the fascia (bumper) and pull the bumper back a bit, and pull the assembly out. I believe it is in the manual, not bad to do. I will post a link to tell or show you how to do it. Press the helpful button

1998 Lumina lights don't work at night! The lights work during the day but not at night. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Theres a sensor in the middle of the dash by the front windshield that detects sunlight and triggers the automatic headlights. The main headlights and daytime running lights might be on a different circuit, in which case they daytime running lamps would turn off at night and the main headlights would turn on, indicating the main headlights arent working and the daytime running lamps are working as intended.

I would check all the fuses related to headlights, check the bulbs and check the switch, then last the light sensor on the dash.

My low beam headlights do not work as daytime running lights or manually with the headlight knob pulled out . The high beam headlights however do work if I have the knob pulled out all the way with the...

Check out your fuse associate with the low beam headlight, secondly there is a relay fuse under fuse rely box under the hoos. Locate this box, and locate the relay fuse associated to the low beam. You can rotate the relay with another relay of the same spec to see if the low beam lights are coming on. I would believe that it is a fuse that is blown, check your owners manaual on the location of the fuse box. Usually it's located in the driver side kick panel.

Head lights not working

Blown headlamps?

Check fuse box for corresponding blown fuse.

Maybe a short somewhere in the daytime running headlights control/module.

Headlights don twork

the daytime running lamps are the high beam bulbs connected in a series which puts a lower voltage to them causing them to appear dimmer. if your low beams are not working i'd start by checking the bulbs to make sure they're not just burnt out. then check the fuses. if that doesnt work let me know and i'll help you trouble shoot it further
