This sound is coming from your strut. Sometimes they will get water in the seals, or dirt, and they will start creaking exactly as you describe. This isn't a big problem unless you can't live with it, and if this is the case, just replace the strut on that side. When the car bounces when you press on that side, then you need to worry about that strut, but otherwise, it's ok.

My 2011 Nissan Sentra makes a slight creaking noise whenever I back out of parking spaces by turning the steering wheel to the extreme right or left. Specifically, the noise comes after I start rolling...

is the creaking coming from the front or rear of the vehicle? if its in the front, it could be a bad strut. 2011? the vehicle should be under manuf. warranty. take it into the dealer and they should fix it for free and even put you in rental car if the vehicle has to stay for an extended period of time. make sure you are under 36,000 miles for the manuf. warranty to apply. good luck!

My car makes a bad growling noise. Everyone said that it was a front wheel bearing because that tire was worn down really bad on the outside. I replaced the passenger front wheel bearing, and it is still...

WHEEL BEARING USUALLY STARTS MAKING A ROARING TYPE NOISE WHICH USUALLY GETS LOUDER THE FASTER YOU DRIVE, SOMETIMES THEY WILL BE LOOSE , TO CHECK JACK UP THAT WHEEL AND GRAB TOP AND BOTTOM OF TIRE AND SHAKE, IF THERE IS MOVEMENT, TRY TO GET SOMEONE TO ROCK TIRE FOR YPU AND WATCH WHERE AXLE GOES INTO CENTER OF BEARING AND SEE IF AXLE IS MOVING WITH TIRE MOVEMENT AND SPINDLE REMAINS STATIONARY, THEN IT IS BAD BEARING, OR SOMETIMES THERE WILL BE NO MOVEMENT, THEN BLOCK REAR WHEELS AND RUN CAR WITH THAT WHEEL IN AIR AND SEE IF YOU HEAR NOISE, GOOD LUCK.

2003 BMW 325i will start but making noise

It might be a faulty power steering pump. Try checking the level of the power steering fluid. It is probably best you have your power steering system checked by a mechanic.

Does the noise occur only when the vehicle is moving?

Try moving the steering wheel from side to side, while stationary (but don't do it too often, or you might damage something). If the noise is still present when the car is stationary, then it probably is the power steering system.

If the noise only occurs while the vehicle is moving, it could be a problem with the differential/final drive, or even wheel bearings.

1994 Ford Taurus creaking left front

I think you are right. The strut or strut mount bearings on the top of the strut could be making noise. The shop might try and rip you off with additional repairs for the control arms, control arm bushings, or steering parts. I would take the vehicle to a reliable shop.

My advise is when u get a humming noise when banking left or right. Its beter to change both left and right wheel bearing and ball joints. Cause if u think about it those parts are put on at the same time . So if u think about it they have the same where in Terre . left or right hope this helps you.

Creaking sound while turning steering wheel

There's a chance that the ball joints need grease. This should help, however once they have started to make noise like that due to lack of grease, they usually have gone bad. Replacement may be the only remedy. Hope this helps.
