Check the coolant level in the radiator when the engine is cold, fill it to the top,and also check the coolant level in the overflow container and fill it to the full line on its side

Why do I only have heat when the car is driving

Are you saying the air does not blow when the car is parked, or it switches from hot to cold ?
If it switches from hot to cold, it could be low on coolant, or a blend door may be faulty.

01 Sebring convertible, AC was low on refrigerant, and would stop blowing cold air and start blowing warm air. I added refrigerant, and it worked perfectly for about 20 days. Now it blows cold, then it...

First of all if your system was low on refrigerant there is a leak. You can recharge and exspect the air to work, how long it will last depends on the size of the leak.Somtimes the refrigerant can have a leak prevenative but this is for very small leaks. You need to have dye put in to system and use black light to find leak.they make kits at your local auto parts store that you can buy and do this your self.If you say it worked well for about 20 days, that is a fairly large leak. The reason why the compressor is acting so erractic is because the freon has oil in it and lubracates the bearings in compressor. When the system goes low the compressor will turn on and off to protect itself.Eventually it will stop running completly.Idont think you have an electrical problem,Ithink you have a big leak.Try what I said and good luck....Brian

2001 chrysler sebring convertable, Heater only produces hot air when engine is running above 3000 rpm's otherwise it will only blow cold air.

flush the cooling system or have it flushed. it is clogged or low on fluid. make sure they use an approved flush chemical to do this and bleed it properly with the heat on high. this should take care of it as long as there are no overheating issues or leaks. cheers

When you turn on the heat--hot air blows out for a few minutes than it blows out cold air. What could cause this????? 2002 chrylser sebring convertible.

low coolant level can cause this condition, when the engine is cold, check your coolant level. if it is full you may have a bad head gasket, have that checked by your favorite repair shop

Cold Heat in a Sebring

I would have the heater core checked. It could be something as simple as a fuse but unlikely. not likely to be the thermostat as that would make the car overheat if it wasnt working.

Heater only blows heat when accelerating

I think you might want to start with thermostat replacement and pressure flush the system and as other suggestion check levels when car is COLD!!!!!!
