Turn on the radio. Turn the key to radio position and wait. This may take anything from 10 minutes to four hours. After the radio is asking the code again, punch it in.

Ford Fusion 2012 radio quit. All I get is the word Ford Fusion on the display. After a week my battery dies.

You may need the Factory Setup data (codes) to unlock the radio. That should be in your manual.

I installed a new radio, everything works except the power antenna??

does the power antenna sense the power lead of the radio . Did you somehow disconnect a sensor wire from the radio power wire when installing the new radio.
This might be the cause of the power antenna not going up when radio switched on ?

Car radio doesn't work

It sounds like the antenna wire may have come loose from the radio or the antenna - would be worth checking. Just remember, if you can't get in behind the radio, and you have to pull it, don't disconnect the wiring harness, or you'll need an unlock code to make the radio work again.

Electric problem or radio problem

If factory, check your fuses on the kick panel It down near the footrest on the driver side. I hope you still have the cover that comes with the fuse diagram. If not..just check all your fuses there. It should be a 10A fuse. But if by chance someone grabbed something larger then 10A then well you better check them all. Also, if does not turn on at all. meaning turn the volume up all the way and hold the search or tune button to change station you should hear a beep. That should let you know if the radio is even able to output anything. Because your display maybe broke. Also check your antenna. These cars are pretty picky with an antenna signal. But if you rather just replace the stereo then that only leave two things..the fuse or a wiring problem...in other words you maybe have a short. Good luck. hope this helps. You can find a fuse KIT with a fuse tester in a parts store. makes things easier for you when testing for bad fuses.

Temperature display "read out" led display + radio antenna

the gears in your antenna mask are plastic sometimes they get stripped. you can take the antenna out through your trunk. I got the part at the toyota dealer. Sometimes it is easier to ask one of the mechanics to put it in for you.
