Just air up the tires and the spare and it will go off on it's own, if you had a flat it has to be reset another way let me know if the air pressure does not change it but it should. Most tire pressure systems will reset once you have the correct air pressure in them.

The monitor is alerting you that one of your tires is low on air. Check all the tires, including the spare. The light should go off once the tires are properly inflated and the vehicle is driven.

CHECK TIRE PRESSURE SHOULD BE 33 PSI. ONCE YOU CHECK ADD CORRECT TIRE AIR PRESSURE. DRIVE CAR AT 20 MILES PER HOUR FOR 2 MINUTES. THE LOW TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT WILL TURN IT SELF OFF AND RESET ITSELF.

Tyre pressure warning light showing when pressures are correct

Hi, the tire pressure monitor detects any changes in the tire inflation pressure. Therefore, it must initialize and store it in its memory if the tires or wheels have been replaced, re-inflated or the tires have been rotated. You can re-initialize the system by following these steps:

1. Check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (in the glove box) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.

3. Now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.

4. Initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.

Own a 2004 VW Phaeton V8. Recently bought it with 56,000 miles. Tire pressure warning indicator is on. Just filled tires and pressure is at correct level. Seems like a common problem. Is there anything...

Hi. It is very difficult to remove the Tire pressure warning system.
To reset the light, the vehicle must be driven for a period of about 20 minutes. After the pressures have been check(don't forget the spare, unless you have set the monitoring of it off). If this does not reset it, then there may be a fault in the system. This needs to be rectified by a VW franchise. The sensors are often damaged when the tyres are replaced.
Hope this helps.

Changed right front tire now reads zero on dash light is on

Your tire pressure monitor needs to be reset whenever you change or rotate your tires...

1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position. If the low tire pressure warning light comes on, push and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch (think the switch is in the glovebox, but not sure) until the warning light turns off and then release the switch.

3. now press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times.

4. initialization is *not* completed until driving at the vehicle speed of 19 mph or over for more than one hour. the tire pressure monitoring starts when initialization is completed.

The check tire pressure light and ABS auto traction sensor light keep coming on. Tire pressure is good

The tire pressure monitor detects any changes in the tire inflation pressure. Therefore, it must initialize and store it in its memory if the tires or wheels have been replaced, re-inflated or the tires have been rotated. You should be able to re-initialize the system by following these steps:

1. check and make sure that your tires are inflated to the correct pressure

2. turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

If your vehicle has similar controls like my 2006 Sequia. put the ignition in the ON position... then press the Tire Pressure Monitor Reset button (it is located on the dashboard button right beneath the streering wheel column).. press it for 4 to 5 seconds till you see the pressure monitor light come on and then go off. That should reset the system.

My car has been telling me to service my tire monitor system

The service tire monitor warning can come on for many reasons. A sensor may have gone bad, may have been broken if a tire was changed recently, the car needs an updated module and antenna. The system woiuld need to be looked at by a technician.

How do i reset the tire pressure warning on a 2008 kia spectra

Your tire pressure is monitored by a device known as a TPMS sensor.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System is an integral part of your tire that tends to wear with age.

You need to take your vehicle to a reliable shop (I recommend Discount Tire) to have the TPMS sensor in the defective tire replaced. It's simple, and inexpensive.

I have used Discount Tire's services for almost 20 years, and have never been disappointed with their service.

Tire pressure monitor

32 psiis actually low for a 3500. I have a 1500 silverado that runs 44 psi cold. The tire inflation monitor , monitors inflated cirunference. Sooooo, If it isn'nt round enough, it will let you know. Driving warms up both the air and the tire, off course changing everything again. Pressure is up and tire is bigger. Ask me not how it can tell what is going on with the tire sitting still. I'm only on page 9,000, the answer is here somewher. :-) Well good luck. I do know the above is accurate._Ned_
