Check the controls at that door,switch their may be bad,try swapping with other door and see if it works their,if it does then bad switch,if it doesn't,then no power going their,a wire could be pinched or melted.

Mine did this too....the latch kept getting stuck. If you put the key in the ignition and unlock the power doors, pull on the gate door (don't open it, just enough to release the latch), and it should come out so the hatch will latch.

your rear glass on your tail gate is ajar ..press the round circle button on the gate from the outside and the glass will pop open at yah close the glass a little harder since the latch is a bugger to catch i get this all time with mine

and your rear access msg will disappear and your rear windshild motor may work since the glass isnt fully closed the wiper wont run

A wrecking yard is your best bet. The odds of you getting one that is bad are astronomical. Are you sure your remote has fresh battery's? Also check your fuse going to that devise before buying another one. The second choice on where to find one is eBay. Of course they are usually higher then a wrecking yard. Could be the latch mechanism for the door is sticking. You could try using some white grease on the latch and the contact where the latch hooks to. You can purchase the grease from most auto parts stores. You will not need to use alot. Just apply a small amount to the mechanisim and then work it in using the manual handle. Then open and close the door several times to feel the "action". Then apply a little more and repeat. This should loosen the latch and get it working again. Also make sure that none of the tension springs have come loose on the latch. And check the seal around the door and make sure it is not pinched and has a proper fit.

Doors unlock on 2005 Chevy Taho but the rear hatch won't. It does not even click when you press button. It does not have a key acess. Is there a manuel opener?? Or a fuse. Even the glass hatch will not unlock.
