Im looking for a part on a durango the plastic that goes by the tier

It look like the only thing left is the steering column , maybe bearings

The purge valve is up on the engine. the vent valve is by the gas tank or at the charcoal filter, the lines run from the tank and filter to the engine. the lines are plastic, except under the body, metal then. Codes would be nice. This would tell me where to look.

The knock is likely a worn connecting rod bearing. Are you using the correct weight of oil, never use any heavier than 10W30W, heavy oil viscosity's cause slow circulation through the oil passages and starve the engine's bearings for oil.

Any plastic part that is broken will require getting a new
piece at the dealers parts counter

I would go there & have the parts folks come out & look at
what you need & your daughter hopefully can replace it

If the problem persists stop by a tire shop. Most all of them have a scanner to check the sending units(aka valve stems) and see if one of them is sending a false
signal. Hope this helps.

Bring the VIN number to a dealership and have the parts guy look it up. There might be a tag on the diffy itself saying what it is. I know theres a way on counting the ring gear teeth and the pinion teeth. I believe you devide the two numbers and thats the ratio, but not totally sure. Good luck.

I assume your talking about the coolant tank. If so look around the bottom of the tank and see if there is a plug going to the tank if so unplug it and see if light goes out. Im not sure if the low coolant switch is in the tank or not

Turn the wheel all they way to the left. Look in behind the driver side tire at the back of the hub assebly. If there is a wire runnning down into the hub (not the brake line. This wire will be covered with a plastic protector for the wire) you have four wheel abs. The same goes for the rear tires. If you look at the rear wheels there will be the same type of wire running into the back of the brake housing cover.

You need to put a scanner on the ABS system. See if it can be done for free at Advance Auto or maybe Pep Boys.
