You'll have to check the wiring at the wheels for the wheel sensors.Wires tend to break at the plugs.

Testimonial: "I'll do that, also a friend told me it could be a wheel bearing needs replaced as this could be causing the ABS light to come on"

Could be a wheel bearing. But all you did was a brake job. Bearings don't go bad because of changing pads. You want to find out which wheel, have the codes read. Shops will charge you for anything except engine. parts stores don't read ABS.

My abs light is staying on I had the brakes replaced 3 months ago

The ABS system has very little to do with the brake pads/shoes themselves. It is a sensor-based system that senses when a wheel locks up and uses solenoids to release brake pressure to the skidding wheel to regain traction and thus help maintain control. You need to have the wheel sensors checked. It is not uncommon to damage a sensor dislodge sensor wiring when performing brake work. There are other issues that can also cause ABS damage as well.

Abs light stays on and abs system does the same

Try adding brake fluid to the reservoir that should put the light to rest if not when have you had the brakes serviced last, if you start to hear a metal rubbing noise waste no time to get the brakes serviced chances are you need pads or shoes.. Every 25,000 to 30,000 miles should have them inspected other wise you risk rotor or drum damage if the pads or shoes wear down too far.. hope this helps..

Abs light stays on, after changing brakes, 1997 caddy deville

ABS light comes on with ignition then should go off when you start the car.
If abs sensor does not turn off after disconnecting the battery, then there is a real problem, a faulty sensor or ABS malfunctioning.

Abs light, traction control light

after replacing pads and shoes, refill brake fluid level,,,,,and,,,pull the rubber pad on the inside of filler cap to its full expanded state,,,,, then put on brake cap... it turns off abs, traction control, because it keeps the fluid from sloshing .

Bleeding abs 1993 chevrolet p/u, brakes are not solid, I have bled all cylinders starting with master cylinder, left rear to front disc. The pedal is soft and brake light stays on? I have replaced new brake...

Did you bench bleed the MC before installing it? If not, that's the problem. MUST be bench bled or you'll always have air. If brakes lights are on, the brake switch is out of adjustment OR (since you replaced the MC), the push rod is out of adjustment

ABS and Traction Control Light On

Because the brakes were changed, either one of the sensors were broken when removing brakes or it has set a code. Go to your local autoparts store and have them reset the code. See if it comes back on. If it does you will need to look at the ABS sensors on each wheel and replace if damaged
