My honda accord 1999 jerks when at complete stop. It does not do that when I put to neutral before complete stop. Then, when at complete stop and shifts to "D" from neutral, the car jerks when you start rolling. It seems that the transmission does not shift right away.

Shop around , should be about 1,100 to 1,500 for installation of a new clutch.

If this Car is Automatic transmission your fluid is low or needs changed

check idling and front engine mount

i doubt there is a recall for that problem. but a couple of good guesses would be ignition switch or maybe distributor. is the ck engine lite on?
