I think that this is a loose connection. I would inspect first the connection to the velocity sensor found at the car's transmission since this is the component the engine computer, transmission and ABS uses. Check also the rest of the connections. It may be just loose wires or wires with exposed conductors. If all checked out OK have a scanner connected to the diagnostic port of the car. Some shops would let you borrow their scanner. See if the error code is still saved at the computer's memory. The error should identify which part had the error, that may have the loose part or is faulty.
