The car will not start

if you have a problem with any code or blown fuse or brake issues remote start will not work [safety reasons ] check fuses and connections also brake light switch

start by checking fuses and horn relay, next check the ground on the horn it self, and if it still wont work you may have to change horn ,to check horn just put power to where horn power would go to it ,it should blow .

Under the steering wheel. If the clock spring is broken the horn wont blow, the cruse wont work and the air bag light stays on.

Need to put key in drivers door and lock and unlock. This should stop the horn immediatly and car should start.

do you have the keyless enter? sound like your keyless enter may need to be regrammed

check your fuses to start. check for power at horn with a test light if u have power replace horn if no power then u have a blown fuse or you will need work in the steering column..

This is your security system. Your van thought it was being stolen. Next time do not leave your keys in the van and lock the doors.

wiggle the horn on the colum if it stops then the spring on the horn pad has gone bad

Turn the lights on and see if the horn blows. If no then probably dead battery. Else could be the car is not in park or neutral, clutch pedal needs to be depressed. If it makes a clicking noise then check the battery and make sure the battery connections are clean.

Maybe horn became unplugged. Put 12 v power to horn make sure horn works. Put test light on terminal on horn have someone press the horn button, if light comes on and horn does not blow you may need new horn. if light does not come on you may have bad contact at horn button, blown fuse, broken wire, bad horn relay or possibly just a bad ground.
