You need to go to the nearest auto parts store like O'reilly and tell them you need a new door hinge pin for your car. The pin comes with llittle nit looking pieces. It is simple to put on but it will take time. But put the little pieces on top of the holes for the pin then slide the pin through the nuts and the problem should cease to exist.
That white peice could have possibly been on of the rollers from the regulator or a guide.
Sometimes you can purchse a new roller and it will need some pressure to snap it onto the pin. Or you can purchase a repair part that is the roller already on a pin and the old pin needs to be ground off from the back side (its like a rivet smashed onto the regulator or guide).
Then that white piece could have came from something else. Don't really know unless you look.
get a floor jack and a pieces of wood lay the wood on the jack and jack up till it meets the bottom of the door. this will support the door when you pull the pins. using a pry bar pop the little spring inside the door out. its on the top hinge.if the pins have a retainer on the end of them remove this clip the new ones came with this. using a hammer and long punch drive out the pins and pull the door. if it has electric windows just pull it away enough to access the holes for the pins. using the hammer and punch drive out the bushings and install the new bushings.slide the door to the holes and install the new pins make note of the direction of the old pins and install the same way. install the clips on the ends of the pins and reinstall the spring. i do so many i made a tool for reinstalling the spring its a little tricky to get in with your pry bar but not installing the pin will cause the door to swing without restraint. heres a break down picture to help guide you. hope this helps
There are 7 pins total. 3 along the bottom and 4 along the sides. What I used was a 1 1/2" putty knife that I ran along the door until I felt a pin. Then I would insert a second putty knife on the other side of the pin. Then with a knife on each side of the pin; twist the knives, and you should here a loud POP. This is normal for those pins, it just sounds scary. The two pins on the bottom corners are long, the rest are short.
You're going to want to remove the piece around the door lever so that the lever will clear the panel later. Then pry the trim piece around the switch, and that's it. Do this gently using a pocket srewdriver. DO NOT pry out the wood grain piece or the reflector.
The clips in the center behind the armrest are hidden from view, but don't worry, just pull straight up and NOT OUT, with the door panel and you will disengage the clips
remove the trim piece around the door handle. there are 4 tabs, one at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock. remove the 2 screws in the indention for closing the door. carefully remove all of the locking pins in the door. there is a special tool for this but if you are careful and take your time 2 screwdrivers will also work. Start in the lower left corner and slowly pry the panel away. you will be able to see the pins as you are pulling away. slide the screwdrivers on either side of the pin and carefully pry open. once all pins are released the small trim piece by the mirror needs to be removed in the same way. there is one pin only. after the trim piece is removed lift the panel up to release it from the window channel
Easy geta screw driver flathead, use a little piece of cloth around it if u r worried about paint.get a pair of needle nose pliers pry the plastic peice up with screw driver, theres plastic push pins with two tabs on them ,squeeze them together and the panel will pop of theres probally 10 of them more or less
Pop the grab handle cover off, two different styles.
1. With a slot under the grab handle, take a small screw driver off and gently push up, it should just pop out.
2. Simple cover that can be separated with a bone tool or similar so you don't chip the cover piece.
Behind that you will find two Torx 25 screws, Take those out.
Around the edge of the panel should be around 8 plastic rivet type of thing.
Again...two different styles.
1. With center pins that blend in perfectly with the rivet. Should be about 3/32nds diameter. Push the center in and the rivet deals should pop out. Be sure not to lose the center piece...easy to lose.
2. Same deal but with a larger center pin.
Take the plastic triangle piece near the upper right hand area as facing the panel.
Pull bottom away from door and up to release from top section of door.
Careful removing the cable for the door lock release, and remove the connectors from the tweeter and driver's door module.
First, remove the trim around the inside door handle. Simply push on the trim and slide back (twardthe rear of the car.
If you are removing the driver's side panel you must remove the sideview mirror adjustment panel. Simply pry this up with a screwdriver and pull to disconnect. In that hole you will see a phillips screw. Remove that screw.
There are about 7 pins on the back of the door panel lining the bottom and sides. Take a flathead screwdriver wrap the tip in tape or with a piece of cloth so you dont scratch the little bit of paint that you see, and starting from either corner insert the screwdriver behind the door panel. Pry one of the pins out, then move on to the next. Get the screwdriver as close to the pins as possible to avoid warping the door panel. Get a few new pins from the dealership (roughly 50 cents each) because it is normal to break a few. They are just plastic.
After removing all of them from the door, simply lift up on the door panel to finish the job.
