I have a 2008 PT Cruiser which I bought used in 2010. The last couple of years I have noticed a front-end shimmying, particularly when driving about 65 mph on the highway. At first I thought it was from wind but it also occurs when there is no wind. It is not constant but every few hundred feet I feel it. I heard from another PT Cruiser owner that it was the bushings. What can you tell me about this problem?

I have a 2008 pt cruiser, i don't know where to add water... does anyone know or are there any demonstrations that would be helpful to me?

Kecia, where are you putting in the coolant, that is where you want to add distilled water. Save yourself some trouble and buy premixed coolant then you do not have to add water. If not using premixed coolant, mix coolant and water 50/50, or half distilled water half coolant before you pour it in cooling system. It also sounds like you are having a overheating issue which you should have looked at sooner then later. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I have a 2008 pt cruiser. The engine light is on

My PT cruiser is a couple of years older, but I had the same problem. Drove fine, but start-up was erratic for several weeks. By the time  AAA arrived, it usually was working fine. But when it suddenly  started "struggling for power on the freeway and further along on the same trip, lurching (on a city avenue) I drove straight to my mechanic. It WAS the same sensor . . . and car has been driving perfectly ever since he changed it.

Do use anything but Mopar 100,000 or Zerex g05. As for manual> Sorry not good with links. Go to Chrysler's main website. On the website find TechAuthority, FREE downloads of manuals 2004 to 2010.

it could be the type of tires. depending upon tread design an purpose of tire. ie mud and snow, high performance. i would ck to see if the tires are directional. if they are and someone unwittingly rotated the wrong it would do this. you should be able to tell by looking at the sidewall. there should be an arrow showing proper rotation.
