I previously posted my 2005 Ford Escape Hybrid had a code P0190 . I bought a scan tool and actually have two codes (P0191 and P1237).

You need a mechanic with a high level scan tool to check the Diagnostic Trouble Codes and Live Data. It is probably ABS Sensor related, but should never leave you with no brakes..

no it will not ,it may blow the big ends but it will not throw any code ,this code you quoted does not exist in my ford code list but on the universal OBDII


P0190 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

could be a loose sensor?? or a dirty connection on the plug?

this code is related to fuel pressure.
check for air vaccum leaks if the fuel sensor is fixed on teh rail.
if not it should be fixed or integrated in the fuel pump so check it there.the sound generated there it is the pipes vibration.

most of the time the will give you the code. it takes a scan tool to pull the code out of the computer but there may be a way to change in the owners manual
