Hello, You will need to inspect your brakes to cure this problem. Be aware that the rear brakes have 2 systems in them, a service brake and an Emergency brake.
What happens usually is that debris from a failed brake pad has fallen into the Revolution counter on one of the wheels. This confuses the ABS unit and activates a Warning light. Another possibilty is that you have a Brake fluid leak and need to fix the leak and replace the fluid.
A shop with the proper scanner can hook up to your vehicles' ABS system and it will reveal which wheel is causing the alert. The remaining way without a Scanner is to pull off the wheels and manually look at the Brake hardware behind each wheel.
The warning lights are usually accurate and this is not a repair to delay.
You need to get your abs checked. It will safe you money in the long run on brake pads. Have the shop check out your 4x4 as well. They should be able to give you a quick diagnostic. Your alignment may be off on your vehical too. That may be why you are seeing a major difference in your brake pads. I hope this helps! Please give 4 thumbs up!
worn out pads or rotor, possible broken abs cable to brake. first check to see if all 4 are connected. all ore on back side of brake dust shield. than check to see if the brakes are worn last is the rotors. also see if there is a recall on the brake and battery re charge system.
checkout the sensors for the ABS and also check to see if there is a caliper sticking or hanging and be sure there is some no squeak on the back of the brake pads cause sometime without this it can cause the pads to hang up you can pickup some at any auto part store also try this website to see if they have your car listed its www.autozone.com i hope i have been some help to you Michigan Man
Did you replace them yourself or did you take them to a "qualified brake specialist"? It sounds like your brake lines need to be bled properly. You may also have one or more calipers sticking to cause the vibration.
