Sounds to me that your battery has shorted out and will not take a charge.Disconnect the battery and try to charge it, then check to see if it has taken power with a volt meter. A shorted battery will take all the power from the alternator and run it to ground leaving no power to run the car. Also check the alternator output with a volt meter after you have checked the battery as a shorted battery can burn out the alternator.

First turn the engine over by hand to make sure it is not seized. Then get a voltmeter and attach the negative to ground on the battery and the positive on the battery. Try to crank the engine and watch the voltage. Should be no less than 9 volts. Now move the positive lead on the volt meter to the big cable on the starter. Try to crank again. Voltage should be close to the voltage at the battery. If the voltage is good ground the positive lead on the volt meter to ground. Try and crank again. If voltage reads over 1 volt replace ground cable. If voltage is good replace the starter again
