This sounds like the temp sending unit for the ecm is bad. There are 2 temp sensors, 1 for the light/gauge and 1 for the ecm. The sensor sends a signal to the ecm to tell it engine temp, the ecm them adjusts fuel mixture for cold or warm engine. This works much the same way as the choke does on a carb for cold starts
codes p351-2-3 refer to ignition coil A -B -C primary /secondary-circuit malfunction==causes--wiring--ignition coil --ECM. Causes are the same for all three.. As the ECM is common to all three, producing the same code I would be incline to replace the ECM
Did you put the ECM in from a donor vehicle? (Used). It might have to be reflashed as it sounds like compatibility issues. Make sure the ECM has the EXACT SAME NUMBERS in the ID as your previous ECM. If not, then you will need to get the exact match to get rid of the gremlins.
replacing battery more likely erase ECM memory.best to start vechicle let enginet idle until ECM relearn memory.your vechicle has to complete full drive cycle before ECM MEMORY return if not let dealership reset engine idle.
check see if you getting spark if not.have vechicle code scan could have faulty ECM .faulty camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor.make sure engine has been tuned up.replace fuel filter change spark plugs and wires. before engine can run need fuel and spark.either one not working car will not crank.
There are two basic reasons for not starting - no spark or no fuel, both of which are controlled by the ECM. You need to check error codes and these items - for the spark, test it at the cylinder 1 sparkplug; for the fuel check the pressure (if too high or low, problem!).
After changing the ignition module, you may have broken the communication between all the components in the anti theft security system. This is common on GM antitheft systems.
