SOURCE: where is the air filter on 2008 vw rabbit?

the air filter is in the engine cover.. the engine cover is also the air filter box.. you have to pull the cover off.. then flip it over and there are 4 screws holding the airfilter.. losen those screws then take the air filter out, replace it and put the screws back on.. then gently put the cover back ontop of the engine. make sure you fit the four holes with the the four studs exactly.

SOURCE: Heater fan has sto pped

First look to see if you have a fuse for the blower motor...then you will want to disconnect power to the fan an jump 12 volts to the fan motor to see if it works...if ok, then there is a speed control resistor that sometimes goes bad located on the heater assembly...It is usually right past the fan so the fan can keep it cool and has 4 or more wires on it. if all else ok then last would be the switch inside car

I need to change a fuse in a 1984 vw rabbit. I don't know how. Could some one tell me how?

Open the little door under the steering column and check with your book and assiciate numbers. If no book check in your plastic door. I would check what you need to remplace by associating the numbers. Tool needed test light.
Check all your accessories one at the time , I mean ALL the acessories.

Serious electrical problems wiv vw golf mk4 gti turbo yr 2000

I had a VW rabbit that developed mad electrical problems. It started when one day the headlights remained on and would not shut off. It turned out that a $2.00 gasket for the antenna wire had failed. This allowed road water from the wheel well to leak onto the fuse box. In time the fuse panel corroded and shorted out. I had to replace the fuse box twice and use rubber epoxy to seal the leak.
Check all fuses and electrical wiring for signs of shorts or corrosion.
