My 2008 Pontiac G6 GT has been losing oil. 2 weeks ago I checked my oil and it said I had 3/4 full. Last week I checked it again and it said I was empty. I took it to Jiffy Lube 5 days ago and had them do an oil change, engine flush, and fuel system flush. Now my engine light came on again and I am empty again. Also when I go uphill or in between 40-50 mph my car stutters and shimmys.

I belive they didn't reset the oil light timer. I belive the sequence is 1. key on (not acc with engine off)
2. step on the brake pedal 5 times within 10 seconds. 3. key off. 4. start car. 5. check if the light went out. you may have to try it a few times to get it.

My 2008 Pontiac G6 just had the fuel pump replaced, since then (2 weeks) every 2-3 days my car will not start. If I wait 30 minutes or so the car will then start.

When it doesn't start, is it from a stone cold engine or is the engine warmed up and the 20 or 30 minutes lets it cool down? If it's warn then, I'd be going after the CPS (crank position sensor) sometimes they work fine when the car is cold but then they do not want to start when it hot. If it is the sensor, it will only get worse over time and leave you stranded.

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP and I just got the oil changed 2 weeks ago and I believe they reset the Oil Change message, but now it is back on saying that I only have 3% oil life left Chang Oil Soon. ...

2 things to try depending on which system you have , While the vehicle is in Park, you need to hold down "info" and the enter (<-) key for a few seconds.. that will bring you into advanced options.. I believe oil reset is the first option that will show up. Just select that and it'll revert back to 100%. If that doesn't work on your car , then do this Most GM cars reset oil life meter by Key ON and depress the gas pedal 3 times in succession
