SOURCE: power window motor messed up it will control all windows in the car but the drivers side

You say you checked all of the wiring. Each window is powered by a motor in that door. Each switch is independent of the others.
Did you check for power and ground at the driver's switch ?

Front power windows don't work

What is year--make--model? Check the wire harness on hinge side of door, check the proper wire colors for voltage and ground. Usually the driver door window motor is the first to go out, you use it the most. Also the wire harness on hinge side of driver door gets a workout, every time you open and shut the door. You need to check wiring circuits first.

If there is a power window relay, if the relay gets hot it may trip and no power for windows till it cools off.

The radio does not turn-off when opening the drivers door. but does turn off when opening the passengers door after the engine has been turned off and the key removed

Actually this is the answer, well at least it fixed my problem and for others reading before you go to dealer or buy replacement anything check some wires first.. first my unlock button didnt work driver side, then driver side window quit working and then radio wouldnt shut off..the equinox doesnt have a push button sensor its inside the hinges so its not the sensor...if you open your driver side door and in the jam look for the rubber boot....loosen the rubber boot from the door and from the frame of the car so that you can examine the wires inside there....to my surprise 4 of my wires were ripped in half and 2 of them had previously had an attempt to repair with crimps...so check your wires before you do anything else if your having any of the problems that I was having! Hope this helps, no where did I find the answer I was looking for on any forum, hopefully this is the problem and its a quick fix, just seems like it may be a problem that will continue to happen!

Power door locks quit working on drivers side switch. Next day lowered power window now I can not raise or lower any windows from any door switch

You may find broken wires inside the rubber wire cover between the door hinges.. the wires break due to flexing when the door opens and closes .. repair by soldering and heatshrinking the wires back together,,,and this will fix all NOTE ....You can use crimp connectors but they dont offer any protection to the connection and the wire will break at the connector at a later date ....Good luck

Electric windows won't work most of the time (drivers side on and off) back windows not at all

First thing I would check is the wiring that runs between the car body and the drivers door. It is inside that black rubber boot that connects the door to the car in between the hinges. The wires have a tendency to break because the door is being opened a closed a gazilllion times over the life of the car. The boot is tough to pull back but give it a try. Sounds like the wiring may or may NOT be broken completely thru. If you can find the one(s) that are broke, splice the ends together with a crimp connector (Auto Store part) and wrap with electrical tape.

Drivers side door hinge replace

If your vehicle is equipped with power windows and locks, remove door trim panel.
- Disconnect power windows regulator, power lock motor and all other wire harness connections.
- Mark an outline around door hinges for installation alignement reference.
- Remove door hinge covers, retaining bolts, plates and shims. Remove door from vehicle.

For details and graphics, you can refer to the ZJ Repair Manual Secc-23-Body-Components (page 16).

I really hope helped with this; remember rated this help. Good luck.

No power on right side, dome light wont go out

Look inside the rubber boot by the drivers door hinge, if you pull back the boot you will expose the wires for the controls in the door and look closely and you will find a broken wire if not multiple, you can re-solder or use crimp fittings or small wire nuts.

Drivers side window power went out

I had this exact problem with my Park Avenue and it was the switch in the drivers door. I bought a switch at a junkyard for $5.00.
