The radio goes on and off, up and down in volume, but wont let me change the station, thru the channels or up and down button or the seek button. So it stays on one station at all times.
I have also realized that my fuze is blown for the cig lighter and accessory plug in.
Could this be the issue?
Just like any computer, unplugging it for 30 seconds or so may cause it to revert to initial settings.... if you take the battery terminal off you will reset everything and that is not necessary.... find the fuse for the radio and yank it.... see if it helps. IF NOT, probably a burned programming mode... hope you like that station....

you may have burned out the lighter unit.check the wires for melting also!
SOURCE: lighter stopped working,
The Cigarette lighter is run off of a 20A fuse located in the engine compartment just behind the battery. The fuse map will say P-Out and is in position #14. Hope that helps.

sounds like the radio is locked up.... if the radio requires a code do you have it and know how to install it... if so ... unhook the battery for about 15 minutes and hook it back up... should work ok then...

Please take a moment to rate this solution thanks
SOURCE: cig lighter fuse blew. renewed but cig lighter and remote key not
you probably didnt change the right fuse and had another one blown at the same time you also could have a primary fuse under the hood that blew. once fixed dont use pump again. not same amps drawn
