99 chevy malibu v6 3.1 engine, head bolt torque is-- 98 through 2001 is step1- 37 foot lbs, step 2- rotate an additional 90 degrees (1/4 turn). the rocker arm bolts are 168-in. lbs.

It will be about 70lbs But the nut that youo will be torquing also has a small groove in it so when its tight you will need th tap it down so it will not unscrew.

On 5.7L engines, install the bolts and torque in sequence as follows:

1. Step 1: 71 inch lbs. (8 Nm).
2. Step 2: 106 inch lbs. (12 Nm).
3. Step 3: 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).

I presume that you are connecting your Intake manifold to the cylinder head after replacing your intake gasket, if so they are 30ft lbs, and 360 in pounds. Hope that helps
