My dashboard lights (battery emergency brake light & air bags) are flashing on my dashboard while driving but go out when I come to a stop, also it stays running after i turn the key off...all just started today
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must
now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and
"scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the
problem(s) Legend
of Abbreviations. ABS Antilock brake system.TCS Traction control
system, TCM Transmission control module, SRS Supplemental restraint
system, BCM Body control module

hi from uk your brakelights problem may well be the brake lights switch is not being pushed off by pedal when released look where the b/pedal pivots under dash you will see the switch it has two wire plug attached? pull off plug brakelights will go off now the switch needs to be screwed clockwise a couple of turns so it contact b/pedal and the plunger is pushed in fully inside switch refit plug/wires then press pedal down slowly approx 3/4'' the light will come on and go off when pedal released the air bag light may also go off ?? however if not ? check underneath front seats you will see wires with plug connections under each seat these are what operates the pre tensioners on seatbelts in event of impact/accident ? unplug then reconnect plugs then check if light goes off also ensure rear seat backrests are fully locked in position these seats with constant adjusting sometimes cause light to come on ? hope this helps ?
