Cuts off while driving down the road killes the battery
1993 jeep cherokee country will not start up on its own need to get a jump start. run for two days same thing happens. start, battery, alternater, fuse, all ok.
I've got a 91 Lardeo thats doing the same thing. New battery, replaced the cables. Alternator pushes power when its running. Could it be a voltage regulator?

some times ...even if you buy new wires ...it will still not run properly ....try and spray water on your wires at night with a trouble light ..to see if any spark is jumping ....if it is ..the wire that is jumping has a problem.... just because they are new doesn't mean they are good ...have had it happen to me ...i always buy life time wires ...more expensive ..but less headaches .....good luck ...
sounds like you have a wire that has lost or burned off its cover and is grounding out the vehicle and has soon as its power is cut the wire breaks free from the bare metal and thats why you can immediatly start the vehicle
I have a 95 Grand Cherokee, its got this built-in 'kill switch' (lol) that i had to figure out - the alarm wouldn't stop going off until i put the key in the driver door, then turned it Right-Left-Right...
Your probably already aware of this nuisance, but i thought i'd post it it just in case.
