I have a 2000 F350 diesel manual trans 4X4 200,000+ miles that is having a power loss, idles fine but when you take off it starts to sputter like a gas motor with a stuck choke. Just changed the fuel filter 2 weeks before the problem, is it a posable fuel pump problem and if so is the fuel pump in the tank or is it an injector problem

If you changed the fuel filter 2 weeks ago, I would first verify that the fuel filter is good! Dirt from the tank could have clogged it up again.

The next suspect would be the fuel pump in the tank.

What does the vehecile act like if you rev the engine up in neutral? Does it show any signs of fuel starvation? If so concentrate on fuel system.

Tow/haul light comes on gauge shows HOT

Does the trans fluid have a burnt smell and is it brown or dark brown as opposed to a red wine color? If this is the case then you may have a service issue caused by a clogged trans filter which is what this sounds a great deal like and the sooner you get the truck to the dealer or your mechanic the better as the trans in these are not cheap to rebuild or replace.

F350 super duty power stroke diesel loss of power steering when standing still

Power steering pump is weak. If a hydraulic gauge were placed on the pump, you would find it only able to produce about 200-400 psi at an idle. PS requires up to 1500psi. A new pump would produce 1500psi at an idle so replace the pump and you will be fine. By revving up the motor you are able to make the pump put out more psi. The pump is defective internally. Get a good one from the junkyard. Most PS pumps last the life of the vehicle.

2002 F350 7.3 DIESEL SPUTTERS WHEN SITTING FOR TWO DAYS

If its cold it will not like to start try plugging it in a hour before you start it. If that dosen't work you could have bad glow plugs. Try turning the key to the on position wait for the glow plug light to go out and then go back to off and try again then start. If not any of that drain the watter from the bowl and put some injector cleaner in the tank and change the fuel filter. You might have air in the fuel system some how. Try bleeding the fuel system

Many possibilities:
Is it a Diesel?
Camshaft position sensor recall may cover it.
Gas or Diesel:
Fuel Pump and/or relay.
Fuel Filter.

Engine codes could help if Check Engine Light is on.
