Suddenly, No tail lights, brake lights, turns

just look for the blackened/burned pin on the rear light plastic connector and sand it down to re-establish a good electrical connection and save yourself $800 big ones on replacing the multiswitch.

1999 Chev Venture Heater core do I need to remove

The blower motor location can change from year-to-year. It can also change with the trim level of the vehicle. A vehicle that has front and rear climate controls may be configured differently than a vehicle that has front controls only. The following are two different repair procedures. One is for blower motors located and accessed in the engine compartment, the other is for blower motors mounted inside the vehicle.

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Engine Compartment Mounted
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine air cleaner assembly.
  3. If necessary for clearance, remove the left hand wiper arm linkage.
  4. Detach the wire harness connector from the blower motor.
  5. Disconnect the motor cooling hose.
  6. Remove the blower motor assembly retaining screws
  7. Carefully pull the blower motor assembly out from the firewall.

My 2002 chevy venture Van

Check the connections at the battery. These are very prone to corrosion and causing "gremlins" to appear. If the connections are not snug and clean you will get slow cranking, electrical problems, and poor charging on the battery. You can use baking soda and water with a wire brush. Please protect your eyes. You will need either an 8mm, 5/16" wrench or if the bolt is worn, use channel lock pliers on the round part of the bolt. Let me know.

99 venture ran excellent had head gasket problem

if anything moved prior to your replacing these items you could be on the exhaust side of the stroke vs the compression side,, (180 degrees out of time) remove the number one plug,, and this sounds dumb , but it works,, put your finger in the hole and crank the motor ( just tap the key ) be sure and remove the coil wire so it doesn't start !! when the motor tries to blow your finger out of the hole, thats the compression stroke, it will scare the heck out of you, but not to worry its cool. once you do this, Look at the marks on the gear,, do they Line up? check the alignment of the rotor, is it at the number one plug position ? this is a easy check to do, but the bad thing is, if the chain slipped while at high RPMs ,, it could have bent valves, in that case your car would be timed right,, you have valve problems,,

Low traction light come on!

The Low Traction Light comes on when the Enhanced Traction System (ETS) detects one(or more) of the wheels are "slipping" and do not match the speed of the other wheels. The speed of the wheels are detected through the Wheel Speed Sensor(WSP), respectively. This is a normal occurrence if for example you hit a patch of ice or some loose gravel and one of your wheels begins to spin faster than the other wheels.

However if you are describing a condition where you are at a stop or parked at the time the light comes on it would likely indicate that there is a fault in the ETS or in a different case The "Brain Box". If this is the case it is best to take the vehicle to a Legal Certified repair Facility or dealership as there are sometimes Service bulletins and specific testing processes that must be done in order to properly verify what the issue is.

I hope this can help you out.
